DHOLERA SIR

Dholera SIR (Special Investment Region) is India’s First and World’s Second Largest Greenfield Industrial Smart City located approx 100 kms South West of Ahmedabad City in Gujarat, India.

Spanning over 920 sq kms covering 22 Villages of Dholera Taluka in Ahmedabad District, the city is planned to be bigger than the city of Ahmedabad. It is very strategically located between the Industrial cities of Ahmedabad, Baroda, Rajkot and Bhavnagar.

Development of Dholera SIR is planned in a phased manner. There will be 3 development phases to complete infrastructure work across all 6 Town Planning Schemes.

Development Phase 1 will comprise of Town Planning (TP) 1 and TP 2 which will cover about 153 sq kms. Followed by that Development Phase 2 will take another decade and will comprise of TP 3 and TP 4 & finally another decade to complete TP 5 and TP 6.

Along with the said Town Planning schemes a lot more infrastructure developments will take place, like, Ahmedabad-Dholera-Bhavnagar Expressway which is of about 110 kms stretch and which will be a 250 meters wide Expressway connecting Dholera to Ahmadabad and Bhavnagar trough road and Metro transportation parallelly.

An International Airport for the region has already been approved and all the required permissions etc. has been obtained for the same.
